C&R Outdoor Lighting is a Hertfordshire stockist of street lighting, columns, floodlights, feeder pillars and street furniture. It has supplied contractors and councils since 1970. C&R partnered with Safetech to move its catalogue online and make it easy for the trade to order straight from stock.
E-Commerce Website Design & Development
With more than 1,000 products, from LED lanterns to column door keys, C&R needed a shop that trade buyers could navigate as quickly as they would a printed catalogue. Buyers also needed to see trade-ready details such as prices with and without VAT and clear delivery rules.
We built a full e-commerce site with a mega menu covering every category, best-seller and new-in product rails, and prices shown both excluding and including VAT. Free Click & Collect from the Hemel Hempstead store, a clear UK delivery zone guide and fast guest checkout remove the usual friction for trade orders. The “Made in Britain” credentials and long-standing customer testimonials sit front and centre, so the company’s 50-year reputation carries over online.
